lookbook 10 - love love love it could be a wonderful thing

das outfit habe ich gestern getragen und ist eine mischung aus winter-und frühlingslaune. ich bin momentan in einer gelben phase (auch wenn ich nie gelb trage, soll mal mehr davon in den schrank einziehen). der gürtel passt da gut rein und er war gar nicht teuer, weil er bei h&m im sale war. die bluse habe ich in einem kleiderschrank bei uns zuhause gefunden, in dem nur allte klamotten hängen, ich mag die perlendetails vorne an der knopfleiste sehr gerne. die jeansshorts habe ich selber abgeschnitten und die lederjacke ist von only soweit ich weiß, vor jahren mal in berlin gekauft.
die tasche habe ich vor kurzem selber bemalt.

i was wearing this outfit yesterday and it had kind of a spring-y touch to it. somehow i am totally in a mood for yellow (i have a lot of moods for things, you see haha) and i like the belt quite a lot. it's from h&m and although it's real leather it wasn't really expensive. the blouse is a vintage one, i found it in one of our wardrobes for old clothes and i like the details with the pearls down the front. i made the shorts myself and the leather jacket is a simple one from same randomn brand. the tote is the one i made recently.

erinnert ihr euch noch daran, dass ich mal von den susan-boots von chloé gesprochen habe? office hat es getan und eine hübsche kopie erstellt, die nun für 80 pfund zu haben ist. das bringt mich doch arg ins grübeln, dieser ersetz für die gut 1000 euro teuren schuhe von chloé wird vermutlich recht schnell ausverkauft sein, grade bei meiner allerwelts-schuhgröße, allerdings hab ich momentan eigentlich nicht so das geld. da bleibt es wohl abzuwarten und im richtigen moment zuzuschlagen, falls sich die möglichkeit da noch gibt.

do you remember when i wrote about the chloé susan-boots? now there's another knockoff from office available and they are reaaaaally pretty. these babies could be yours for only 80 pound (while the original ones cost over 1000 euros). i hope these knockoffs won't be sold out too fast.

jeder kennt sie, jeder redet über sie und jeder liebt sie: lana del rey ist momentan in aller munde. spätestens seitdem sie auf dem cover der interview erschienen ist. ich muss zugeben, ich bin nicht ihr größter fan. trotzdem mag ich ihre musik und höre sie auch des öfteren, wenn ich in entsprechender laune bin. es ist für mich lediglich nichts, was ich immer und in dauerschleife hören könnte. geschmäcker sind verschieden. aber ob man sie nun mag oder nicht, das coverbild ist definitv genial!

Topshop goes Balmainish von marie-grosz, short skirts enthaltend

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblings-Designerlabels ist Balmain, wenn nicht sogar mein allerliebstes. Ich finde, die Schnitte, die Farben, die Strukturen, die Materialien einfach wunderschön gewählt und absolut stimmig. Der Stil der Mode Balmains entspricht einfach zu 100 Prozent meinem Geschmack. Da die Finanzierung solcher hochpreisiger Markenkleidung leider nicht wirklich dem entspricht, was mein Budget mir erlaubt, habe ich mich auf die Suche nach Alternativen gemacht und versucht einen meiner liebsten Looks aus der S/S 2012-Kollektion mit preiswerteren Stücken nachzustellen. Fündig wurde ich bei Topshop. Gerade den Rock empfinde ich als tollen Ersatz, auch wenn er natürlich eine weniger schöne Struktur aufweist als das Vorbild.

Ich hoffe, euch gefällt die Idee!

Balmain is one of my favourite designer brands, or even at the top of the list. I think the choice of colours, materials, structures and shapes is just gorgeous and really unique. The style of Balmain suits my taste in fashion just perfectly. Unfortunately I can't afford all those amazing pieces as they are really pricey. For that reason I was looking for cheaper alternatives. In this case I tried to replace the original items from one of my most favourite looks from the S/S 2012 collection with some more affordable pieces from Topshop. In my view, especially the skirt is a good alternative to create a similar look.
I hope you like the idea of it!

h&m announces the next designer collaboration

Es ist nun offizell, H&M hat seinen nächsten Partner in dem Italienischen Designerlabel Marni gefunden. Die Kollektion wird ab dem 8. März des kommenden Jahres zu kaufen sein. Ein weiteres spannendes Projekt, das H&M nun verwirklicht. Das 1994 von Consuelo Castiglioni gegründete Label zeichnet sich durch  leuchtende Farben, außergewöhnliche Schnitte und viele Prints aus. Die Marke legt mehr Wert auf einen klaren und schnittigeren Stil als auf Kleidung, die Sexappeal ausdrückt. Da Marni eher in der Sparte der Frauenklamotten tätig ist, wird es spannend, wie die Gestaltung der Männerkollektion ausfällt oder ob sich die Marke eher auf den weiblichen Anteil der Käufer konzentriert. Wie auch immer, diese Kollektion wird sich definitiv um einiges von der letzten Designerkollaboration unterscheiden, während Versace viel mit Leder und Nieten arbeitete, um eine sexy anmutende Kollektion zu kreiren, erwarte ich bei Marni for H&M eine von Bohemian angehauchte Kollektion, die durch Leichtigkeit und eine jüngere Ausstrahlung besticht!

Marni and H&M are working together for the next designer collection to be available starting the 8th of March 2012. Another exciting project H&M is realising. The 1994 by Consuelo Castiglioni founded Italien label is destinguished by bright colours, unique shape and a lot of prints. The label is known for a bolder type of clothing rather than being sexy. Since the brand is more dressing for women than for men, so it has to be seen how the manpart of the collection will look like or if Marni is reinforced concentrating on the collection for the female buyers. Anyways this collaboration is going to be very different from the last one concerning the style and the designer's intention. While Versace used a lot of leather and studs to create sexy pieces, I'm excpecting a more bohemish and young collection!

gott, ich war ja so enttäuscht, als die versacekollektion so schnell ausverkauft gewesen war im onlineshop, ich hatte ja nicht mal ansatzweise die chance gehabt, ein stück zu ergattern. doch wie der liebe gott es so will, besuchte ich heute den onlineshop erneut und siehe da: einige teile waren wieder vorrätig. also bestellte ich mir so schnell wie möglich die schwarze leggings mit den nieten an den seiten. ich bin soo froh, doch noch fündig geworden zu sein und kann gar nicht erwarten, dass der postbote klingelt und mir ein h&m-päckchen überreicht!


after i've been so disappointed first because the whole collection has been sold out so fast, i was soooooo lucky when i saw that there were some pieces in stock again. i ordered the studded black leggings as soon as possible.
now i can't wait for them to arrive!

London, here I come!

Ich freue mich sooo unglaublich, am 1. Januar werde ich wieder in mein geliebtes London zurückkehren. Ich kann es kaum erwarten. Das neue Jahr könnte nicht besser anfangen als mit einer Reise nach London mit zwei meiner besten Freunde. Wir werden bis zum 6. Januar in London bleiben. Nachdem ich diesen Juli 2 wunderbare Wochen in London verbracht habe, wollte ich einfach nur so schnell wie möglich wieder dorthin zurück. Aber wirklich erwartet hätte ich nicht, dass dieser Wunsch so schnell erfüllt wird. Ihr könnt euch vorstellen, wie froh ich war als meine Eltern sich einverstanden erklärten, mir die Reise als mein Haupt-Weihnachtsgeschenk zu bezahlen. Ich freue mich schon darauf, den Sale zu durchstöbern und hoffentlich viele Sachen zu finden und eine Meeeeenge Bilder zu machen. Nur noch 53 Tage...
Diese Reise ist wirklich ein perfekter Auftakt für ein Jahr, in dem ich viel unternehmen möchte!
Nach London, soll in den Osterferien Berlin folgen. Im Sommer werde ich endlich (!!) 18 und fahre mit meinen Freunden zunächst nach Stockholm und dann nach Hamburg zum Dockville ! Im Herbst könnte dann eventuell eine weitere Londonreise folgen, bei der wir uns nach Abikleidern umschauen wollen.. Jaja ich weiß, erst einmal sollte ich das Abi vielleicht hinter mir haben, aber nunja, ein Ansporn wäre es ja...

I'm sooooo excited. I'll return to my beloved London on the 1st January and I can't wait for it. The new year couldn't start any better than with a trip to London with two of my best friends. We'll stay until the 6th of January. After I've spent to amazing weeks in London in July, I wanted to come back so badly and as soon as possible. You can imagine how happy I was when my parents agreed to pay the trip as my main Christmas present. I wouldn't have imagined that I'd be able to visit London that soon again. I looking forward to shop the sales and  to take a looooooot of photos! Another 53 days to go..

Pompous

I became a total ebay-junkie! But I feel like it's a very very cheap way to buy nice clothes especially concerning vintage clothing because I don't have the possibility to buy vintage clothes in my hometown if I don't want to pay as much or even more (!) than for new clothes. Even if some pieces are very nice I don't get it: Why should I pay i.g. 30 euro for an old blouse ? However I bought this amaaaaaaazing velvet jacket on ebay for only 5 euro, because I thought velvet is definitely a trend to go this season and if I would buy something at Zara or H&M it would be more expensive and less individual and special.

This was the first time I wore it. As you can see here I combined it with my "new" leather skirt from H&M. I liked the look of it very much. How do you like it?

haariges malheur

Ich weiß nicht, warum es so ist, aber irgendwie kriegen Friseure es immer hin trotz genauer Anweisungen und Vorstellungen etwas komplett anderes zu fabrizieren. So sind meine Haare nun statt einem warmen mittleren Schokobraun, ein Schwarzbraun mit etwas Rotstich. Und etwa 4 Nuancen zu dunkel. Da kommt Freude auf.
Etwas Gemaule muss auch mal sein, ich hoffe, ihr nehmt es mir nicht übel, aber ich bin echt etwas frustriert deswegen. Schließlich musste ich auch ein gutes Stück abschneiden lassen, damit sie wieder gesund sind... und dabei hänge ich doch so an meinen Haaren!

I don't no what's the matter with hairdressers, but somehow they always do the wrong things altough you are describing the idea of what you expect. In my case the dyed my hair like 4 shades darker than I wanted it to be. It's kind of depressing and frustrating especially because I had to let it to be cut aswell! Whatever ... I hope it'll look better soon, because at the moment I feel like I'm wearing an ugly wig. :(
