haariges malheur

Ich weiß nicht, warum es so ist, aber irgendwie kriegen Friseure es immer hin trotz genauer Anweisungen und Vorstellungen etwas komplett anderes zu fabrizieren. So sind meine Haare nun statt einem warmen mittleren Schokobraun, ein Schwarzbraun mit etwas Rotstich. Und etwa 4 Nuancen zu dunkel. Da kommt Freude auf.
Etwas Gemaule muss auch mal sein, ich hoffe, ihr nehmt es mir nicht übel, aber ich bin echt etwas frustriert deswegen. Schließlich musste ich auch ein gutes Stück abschneiden lassen, damit sie wieder gesund sind... und dabei hänge ich doch so an meinen Haaren!

I don't no what's the matter with hairdressers, but somehow they always do the wrong things altough you are describing the idea of what you expect. In my case the dyed my hair like 4 shades darker than I wanted it to be. It's kind of depressing and frustrating especially because I had to let it to be cut aswell! Whatever ... I hope it'll look better soon, because at the moment I feel like I'm wearing an ugly wig. :(

nice try

Ich war gestern im Kino und habe mir "Freunde mit gewissen Vorzügen" mit Mila Kunis und Justin Timberlake. Für manche mit Sicherheit ein alter Stiefel, da er ja schon länger läuft, aber ich hab bisher noch nicht die Zeit gefunden und war jetzt umso begeisterter. Ein wirklich guter Film, mit der nötigen Portion Kitsch, aber auch einer gehörigen Menge Ironie. Ein guter Mix. Also für jeden, der bis jetzt noch gezögert hat: Es lohnt sich meiner Meinung nach absolut. Musikalisch ist auch was hängengeblieben. Die Band "I am Arrows" mit ihrem Lied "Nice Try".

Yesterday I went to the cinema to see "Friends with Benefits" because I hadn't have the chance before. But I think it's a really good movie. Including some kitsch but a lot of irony as well! So for everybody who's unsure if the film is worth it : I can recommend it!
Musicwise I loved the band "I am Arrows" with their song " Nice Try"

The Virgins - One Week of Danger

The Virgins sind bereits seit einigen Jahren eine meiner Lieblingsbands, Grund genug ihnen hier auch mal ein Plätzchen zu widmen.

The Virgins have been one of my favorite bands for a couple of years, some of you might know this song from the first season of Gossip Girl. However they are definitley worth it to be mentioned here.

me again

Ich war am Donnerstag in Frankfurt und habe mir mal ein Bild vom neuen Urban Outfitters gemacht, allerdings nicht gekauft, weil ich letztendlich doch zu arm bin. Lieben tue ich diesen Laden trotzdem. Ich habe mir dann letzendlich etwas bei H&M gekauft und bei Primark, der die Preise allerdings im Gegensatz zur Qualität ordentlich anzieht. Das ein oder andere Teil ist trotzdem sehr schön und eine günstige Alternative zu hochpreisigeren Stücken.

Heute war ich dann noch einmal in Mainz und habe erneut den H&M mit meinem Geld beglückt. Und abschließend habe ich noch ein Parfum gekauft, um das ich schon längere Zeit herumgeschlichen bin: Escada Absolutely Me. Ein sehr schöner Rosenduft mit Vanille und Himbeer/Johannisbeerkomponenten.

Heute Abend war ich dann noch mit Freundinnen etwas essen.

Went to Frankfurt on Thursday and bought some things at H&M and Primark. Had a first look at the new Urban Outfitters store, but didn't buy anything.. although I'd love to buy everything, but it's just to expensive. Today I went to Mainz to buy some pieces at H&M I couldn't find in Frankfurt and I finally bought the amazing parfume I wanted to buy for a long time: Escada Absolutely Me, a very nice rosy, vanilla and fruity smell. Looove it. Pictures of the stuff I bought are coming soon.
